Rainbow Six Vegas 2
If you aren't aware, a potentially really good game is just around the corner. With a shipping date of on or about 4/15, RSV2 has potential to be a crowd pleaser! And with some questionable releases as of late, this could be a title to bring bring some joy to the gaming group :) A forum is being created today, so member or not, please take a moment to post in there and let us know if this is a game that is on your "to-buy" list!
FrontLines: Fuel of War Update
Speaking of titles that did not live up to the hype upon launch.. FFoW is announcing all over that the 1.0.2 patch will be out soon. It has been in testing (seen by the public via in-game server broswer) for about 2 weeks now. They are already working on 1.0.3, FYI.. There are some of us that have it. Again, please post in the appropriate forum if you do. Some of us would like to get a FFoW night going!
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Not much to report on the COD4 front. Main server has been doing great (it was resized for those who don't know to a slightly smaller cap to enforce more of a teamplay aspect). Second server has been switched to a TWL official server. I still have the config files to run it as FFA, but the clan is gearing up for scrimage/TWL league play, so it's best that it runs as such. More information will be coming soon regarding this.

This is a possible fix for people with the “audio crash”.
We are still testing this and will relase it in a hotfix or patch but are posting this for people to use at their own risk.
Follow the steps below:
- Move the files OpenAL32.dll and wrap_oal.dll out of the directory C:\Program Files\THQ\Frontlines-Fuel of War\Binaries to your desktop or another safe location in case you need them later.
- Download the OpenAL Installer from Creative.
- Run the installer.
- Follow installer directions.
- Once the install is done, run the game.
If you still crash after this please make sure you have updated your sound drivers. You should also make sure Windows is up-to-date.

That's right everyone. At last I've located a place offering the Standalone Dedicated Server. (They are actually the Official US partner with Kaos for game servers). The server is named:
Christian ~cKs~
of course and is awaiting your feedback! There ARE problems to be aware of (and quite annoying, at that). According to them, there is a 'known to the developer' problem with the servers NOT rotating maps. Meaning, when I tell it to play a set of maps, it will only play the 1st map over and over. So to play a DIFFRENT map, I have to stop the server, change the map, and restart it.
The good news is that while I'm average at best at gaming, I'm a wizard at UT admining and configuring. So if there's ANYTHING that can be done to make it rotate, I'll find it. Of course 'the fix' is right around the corner from Kaos.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to ~wOw~Justified whose father has just recently passed. For those whom are not aware, ~wOw~Justified aka 'Justy' is the leader of the clan that many of us came from. Justy is, and always has been a great man, and awesome leader. I want to assure you Justy if you ever need to talk, be it blow off some steam, or otherwise, I, as well as the rest of us here I'm sure, are all here for ya. As I've said since before I came here, we're atill family, regardless what what 'tag' we wear. May the Lord be with you in these (and all) times.
I have set up a topic in our forums HERE for those who would like to leave scriptures, words of encouragement and prayers to Justy and his family. I encourage you all to take a moment and leave a little something for Justy.
