Just thought I'd stick this out there for anyone who may care?
I just stumbled on a Minecraft PE server software group. The software runs similar to bukkit, meaning the are plugins to enhance the very limited mobile PE version. While the kiddos still play regular MC, while we wait for the dust to settle on the whole MS bought Mojang thing, and bukkit being, well, who knows so far, I set up one of these PE servers for our mobile devices..
If anyone wants the connection info, just hollar.. Pretty simple, just click an edit button in MCPE, add the external address, and it should show up.
It's not perfect, work in progress, and not on my end, on the teams' end (my 4-yr old already noticed for some reason if you use an itme not in the first spot it puts it back into your inventory - but if it's in the first spot, it works perfectly.. lol
Anyway... Holler if ya care about this. Expect this to be a passing fad, not a life project like the real MC server.
